Easter Ham

This recipe sounds tooo good not to share..from the Hormel web site.

Servings: This recipe is recommended for 10 servings


1/2 cup maple syrup
1/3 cup orange marmalade
1/4 cup orange juice
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
6 pounds Cure 81® Boneless Ham
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 pounds sweet potatoes, peeled and chopped
 3 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup pecan halves
1 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste

1. Heat oven to 350°F. 
2. To make glaze, in small saucepan, combine maple syrup, marmalade, orange juice and Worcestershire sauce. Cook over medium heat, stirring, until marmalade is melted. 
3. Grease sheet of aluminum foil; place in roasting pan. Place ham on foil. Brush ham with small amount of marmalade mixture. Bring foil up around ham, loosely leaving top open. Bake, brushing frequently with marmalade mixture, 1 1/4 hours. Carve into thin slices to serve. Serve hot or cold. 
4. Meanwhile, on baking sheet, toss together oil, sweet potatoes, salt and pepper. Roast 40 to 50 minutes or until potatoes are tender; transfer to large bowl. 
5. In small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add pecans; cook, stirring frequently, 2 to 3 minutes or until pecans are toasted. Drain butter over sweet potatoes; reserve pecans. 
6. Mash sweet potatoes until no large lumps remain. Add cheese; stir vigorously with fork until cheese is melted and potatoes are smooth. Sprinkle with pecans; serve alongside ham.
