Child Hunger Ends Here

Child Hunger Ends Here

Tonight I participated in a Twitter Party to Help End Child Hunger. What is a Twitter Party you ask? Amy Lupold Bair wrote a great explanation of how to participate in a Twitter Party here.
Essentially, its lots of people on Twitter at the same time talking about the same thing.

Conagra Foods and Feeding America are both large supporters of the cause to help end child hunger.
In partnership with Feeding America, the nation’s leading hunger-relief organization, ConAgra Foods is continuing the Child Hunger Ends Here Neighborhood Rally campaign.

I mention all of this because this weekend I will be holding my annual "Fireworks Yard Sale".
As part of the Child Hunger Ends Here Neighborhood Rally campaign, I have invited friends to join me and support the cause. The cost to set up space at my Yard Sale is non-perishable food items.

I am looking forward to collecting lots of food to make another large donation to the food bank. I donate regularly to the Gemma E. Moran United Way Labor Food Center.

If you are local, come on by and shop--bring some canned goods with you as a donation.

Together we can all help put an end to child hunger.
