In a recent article I read in Website Magazine I discovered that yes they do.

I prefer the coupons that come in the Sunday newspaper myself. I like the way they fit in my coupon binder, and I like the regular schedule of the Sunday paper. But this article made a couple of points very clear to me,and opened my eyes to new possibilities.

Those points are these:

  • Internet Coupon Users of today seem to be a younger, wealthier crowd that have a much larger household and are less apt to subscribe to the "old fashioned" or traditional print newspaper.
  • They prefer to print coupons, rather than clip coupons
  • They prefer the 24 hour convenience of printing when and how they want their coupons.
  • 41 % of Internet Coupon Users, are using their hand held devices to find deals and coupons.
With so many new ways to get IP's the possibilities seem endless. There are a number of sites out there that you can register with directly to get Internet Coupons. You can even have some coupons linked directly to your Grocery stores loyalty card through a company called Cellfire.
I use Cellfire and find it to be quite a "neat" little coupon "thing". But make no mistake, companies like Cellfire, and others who are implementing mobile websites and Internet Coupons into their advertising budgets are the future of Coupons.

How Can You Take Advantage Of All They Have To Offer?

Simple, "Sign up to save". Digital Internet CouponsI am sure you have heard, or read that phrase before! If not you surely will begin to as the age of Internet Coupons continues to grow.
A couple of things I learned from my friend Wendy at mommybloggersguide is how important it is to be organized in the begining. Once you start to sign up with all these online coupon sites you will begin to get lots of email. The best thing to do, BEFORE you start signing up is to get yourself a new email address that you will use exclusively for coupons and online deals. I recommend gmail from Google. It is free and very easy to use, and you can access your email (and thus your emailed internet coupons) from anywhere you have a computer and internet access.
The other thing I learned is that you should be consistent in how and when you do your Internet Coupon searching. If you get into a routine of every Monday in the morning (or whatever day/time works for you) and you do your online searching and printing of these coupons every week, at the same time, it will eventually become a habit for you, just like every Sunday the day I gather and cut my newspaper insert coupons, is for me.

Here is a small list of the online sites you can go to get you started:
There are many, many more out there, too many to count or list. These are some of the more popular ones.
